Justice & Law of Children Foundation (JLCF) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization(NGO) based in Tanzania, which focuses on protecting, advocating for, and promoting the rights, welfare, and development of children through legal assistance, rights advocacy, community awareness, as well as the implementation of child-centered social programs..
The organization was founded in 2018 by Fogasta Msulla, and officially registered as an NGO on 01 November 2021, with the mission of ensuring that every child lives in a safe and dignified environment, free from violence, abuse, neglect, or exploitation, and has equal access to justice, education, health, and social services.
A society where all children are safe, protected, heard, and able to reach their full potential, regardless of their environment, health status, disability, or socio-economic conditions.
To protect and promote the rights, dignity, and welfare of children by strengthening access to justice, preventing and combating violence against children, empowering children in vulnerable situations, and building community capacity through legal education, rights advocacy, and inclusive child-centered programs
Empowering children in vulnerable situations, including orphans and children with disabilities, by linking them to education opportunities, social support, and essential child development services.
Providing emergency support to children affected by disasters, conflicts, or high-risk situations, including food, clothing, health services, psychosocial support, and temporary protection.
Providing and coordinating essential human needs for orphans and children with disabilities, particularly in the areas of: Education (learning materials, school uniforms, school fees, and educational support)
Justice & Law of Children Foundation is an officially registered organization in Tanzania as of 01 November 2021, implementing its activities in compliance with national laws and international child rights frameworks, including the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
